Lemongrass – Cymbopogon citratus
The Lemongrass genus includes about 45 different species of grass. Lemongrass is also known as barbed wire grass, silky geads, citronella grass, cha de Dartigalongue, fever grass, tanglad, hierba Luisa, and gavati chaha. Lemongrass is often used in teas, soups, and curries. Lemongrass can add flavor to poultry, fish, beef, and seafood.
