Meadowsweet – Filipendula ulmaria
The perennial herb Meadowsweet is native to Europe and Western Asia, but has been introduced into North America. Also known as mead wort, can be found growing in damp meadows. It can be found as a flavouring in beer, wine or vinegar, or scattered on floors to give the room a pleasant aroma.
Safety: Do not use this herb if you are allergic to aspirin. Consult your physician before using this herb if you have asthma or Sulfite sensitivity. May increase the effect of anti-platelet or anticoagulant drugs.
