about this product
What is Chaga Mushroom?
Chaga is the dense, dark, charcoal-like conk of Inonotus obliquus, a fungus that grows on birch trees in cold northern forests. The hard exterior is black and cracked while the interior is a rusty orange-brown.
About Chaga Mushroom
Unlike a typical capped mushroom, chaga grows as a sterile conk on living birch trunks across Siberia, Canada, and Northern Europe, where it has a long folk history. We supply it as dried chunks.
