Every herb I need, great location, great employees, fair price, funny name. I like the variety of kratom and their valerian root doesn’t smell bad at all!!! Wow I wish they were open later I reckon but that’s a me problem!!! HAHA! 😉

Their items are excellent. Their customer service is awful. In addition, they'll ship you the wrong order and not correct the mistake. It is ok to make mistakes, but it is not appropriate to make the customers wait. It's been well over a week, and they still have not figured this out. Update: this company finally figured it out, and after more than a week I received my order. The customers ordering here just have to be strict with their customer service. Otherwise, they sell high quality products and will send you samples as well. I will keep supporting Herb Stomp.

Yo we went into herb stock for the first time today, just moved into the new area about a month ago and been driving by this place they want to check it out, went in there and the nice old homey Josh was just a very big ball of energy the man’s was nothing but a good character nothing but amazing personality I appreciate him explaining everything to me considering it was my first time in there and I had no idea even what I was looking at as soon as I walked in so shut out to Josh man y’all be sure to come by and see this man over here at Herb stump this is the dude!

Been coming here for nearly 10 years. Staff is always prompt and efficient, but also knowledgeable and friendly if you have a question or just want to stop and chat. Some of the best quality and selection in town both for herbs and ethnobotanicals. They also give thorough information on packaging for certain products such as lot number, dates, and any relevant lab testing for active plant compounds. All in all a great shop!

I’m a frequent user of Kratom so I was looking to buy in bulk. The store is very convenient, clean, and attractive. They have extremely good products and specials. I've been a customer now for four years I come in regularly, twice a month. I have almost always Had a very positive experience Except for when dealing with one particular employee I don't know his name he's a tall guy he wears the same pants all the time, some type of capris. He has been rude and condescending to me every time I've dealt with him i do not reciprocate this behavior i just do my business and go. Kratom has given me such a better quality of life compared to the medication I was on previously to hear someone say to me "this stuff is like heroin I dont know how they sell this " Really bothered me The man is entitled to his opinion I think when he's on the clock should keep that opinion to himself and not be so rude to customers regardless of what he feels about their Purchases I typically would not write something like this but it has happened so many times with the same individual I felt like I needed to say something aside from that I love the store and I love the products and will continue to do business with them

Super friendly! The bump at the door isn't 100% wheelchair accessible, and I think the table could be pushed a few more inches back, but it's a great place! I actually really like not having to sort through the store to find what I want, frankly the ideal shopping experience, but I'm still excited to explore the shop once we're post pandemic. Absolutely would recommend and will be dragging others there post pandemic.

Always good and positive vibes when coming to Herb Stomp! They have a great inventory on herbs among many other items, but more importantly...friendly customer service. I am all about the quality of service and they have it here. Only once have I been disappointed and that was because they were out of a certain product. But that was saved with Jennas friendly-ness and a phone call to thier sister store on Sandy...and there, I was able to get what I needed with yet another good and friendly conversation with a mr Tim. Both stores win big in my book - which is why I drive from NE Portland to thier locations. An extra 20 min is worth my time coming to Herb Stomp.

Herb Stomp (Sandy) is BY FAR the best Herb and Kratom store I have ever been to. In my 2.5 years of using Kratom, I have never been to a place as helpful as this! The employees are so so helpful! Usually when buying Kratom, I’m met with grumpy head shop owners who seem to want me to either spend out of my budget, or just want me out of there. But HERB STOMP IS THE BEST! They are affordable, work with your budget and your preferences for herbs and Kratom. No matter how far it is from me, I always always prefer to go to herb stomp. This is the best place in Portland to buy kratom, I have been using kratom for years and I have never had any as good as Herb Stomp's kratom. I discovered Herb Stomp 4 months ago. I have had many interactions with the staff of this store, all of which are so happy and upbeat. I have been trying for a couple of years to get pain relief that is non-narcotic. I am unable to use marijuana because of very bad paranoia. I am not against marijuana for relief, but it does not work for me. When I discovered this shop, I was given some ethnobotanical samples. I have discovered the strain that works for me and am very happy. What I have also discovered that the entire staff knows their stuff. I have found many shops that the staff couldn't spell marijuana, let alone sell the stuff. Herb Stomp is NOT A POT SHOP. It is a store that has many different herb strains and/or ingredients, for all sorts things, like, stress, anxiety, pain and even herbs for food, (see the online lists). I wish I would've known about Herb Stomp before my mom died, she would've been their best customer... Also, Im actually quite surprised at their pricing, which is very reasonable. I bought 4 0z of Green Maeng Da (sp?) and it lasted 2 months, for 40.00. You could probably find it cheaper online, but you can't find the trust. OH! And they just got capsules in!

Came in and bought some kratom and for whatever reason it just didnt agree with me. I called the next day and spoke to Rebecca and she totally took care of me. Thats just one of the many reasons i would never go anywhere else. All of the other staff have been awesome and they have the best quality stuff and really good prices. Good herb selection; reasonable prices. Lots of loose herbs, tinctures, smudge/incense, pipes. By herbs I mean various medicinal and alchemical herbs - I bought some lemon balm, organic roses, and lemongrass as well and bundles white sage and white pine. Good source for alternative/complimentary smoking herbs as well, such as damiana, blue lotus, and wild dagga.

The place for whatever you need. Consistent and top shelf products, helpful staff, perfect availability. Jordan is an ethnobotanical guru; always courteous and patient. Never have I encountered someone with such a wealth of knowledge regarding ethnobotanicals and holistic medicine. If you ever drop by the SE location off Cesar Chavez, you know you’ll be taken care of. I couldn’t recommend that location more.

Herbstomp is the absolute best place to go in Portland for Kratom, inscense, pipes, or anything! The lowest prices I can find, The staff is knowledgeable and super friendly, their open hours are quite convenient, and their stock is all fresh. Two good locations though I'm partial to the one on Belmont =). I can not recommend Herbstomp enough.

Holy moley. Kratom saved my life around 8 years ago. With severe chronic pain, the doctors had doped me up RX opiates for years. When I lost my insurance.. The inevitable happened, as it does for far too many. My life was destroyed very quickly, mostly by my own hand. Lost, hopeless, scared, angry... I finally found Kratom literally by divine intervention. I buy my kratom now from Indonesia. As my package was late this week, I needed a supplement until it arrives (I usually cannot stand being robbed by smoke shops with crappy product and 500% more than my natural kratom I buy from Indo. I was so so surprised with this herb shop and amazed at the quality of their kratom. I thought it would be no different than many J's.. Or like. I give this place 5 stars hands down!

I almost always buy my kratom here. I can always depend on the quality and the price being reasonable. (I’ve ordered online from online vendors like some have suggested and the quality was so-so and not really worth it). They’re better than 90% of the online stuff I’ve tried. I read another review about parking, the smell, and music being too loud and I’ll tell you.... I go there almost every other month and the parking is fine, I park in the Walgreens parking lot and walk across the street. I go into Walgreens to grab something too because I consider it kind of rude to use their lot without patronizing their business (but I guess that’s up to you). I’m only in herbstomp for literally 3 minutes so it’s not a huge deal. The smell is exactly what any headshop/herbal store smells like... incense and herbs and spices. I can see why maybe it would bother some people but I’m very sensitive to smells and it doesn’t bother me one bit. The music is NEVER too loud. The person on duty listens to tunes while working I guess, and I don’t mind that either.... it keeps the place relaxed and cheerful. I have encountered a rude person every now and then but the majority of the people there are super chill and do their jobs well. There are no bums in the area and the shop is kept clean and tidy. I’ve always appreciated how they package their kratom too (resealable bags, nice ones too). I’ll keep coming here as long as they keep my preferred strain in stock and I definitely recommend you check it out if you’re curious!

I moved this month from NW Portland to SE and have dealt with stores that sell kratom in many states across the U.S. and online for the last couple of years. I found the prices of kratom at Herb Stomp to be about 1/3 of the price and ~4x the amount of which I had been paying! The store offered $2 sample bags which I found unusually helpful. The quality was also good. Assistance has always been compromised due to kratom's strange legal status as "not for human consumption..." I found the staff quite impressive with the female owner, treating me with courtesy, respect, and help with invaluable knowledge of Herb Stomp's products and their origins. I am permanently disabled by chronic intractable migraines and sometimes use kratom for pain and anxiety relief found in red veined varieties at certain doses. I've found energy and mood boosts, and a focused mental clarity also dose related, coming more often in a couple of the over 4 different leaf colors, and even the counties that they're grown in also have an affects kratoms effects!

Was a little questioning at first but by no doubt is this a great and reliable company. Was a first time herb buyer with their online orders and the package was neat, clean and sealed and they even sent an extra blue lotus sample. 5 stars wish could give more

HerbStomp is an awesome vendor with friendly, efficient staff. Website is easily navigated and user friendly. I have done all of my business with the HerbStompers by website and phone. My product always arrives the very next day with samples of other products, or a requested sample. Photos of the products are 100% representative of the issued product. Your privacy and financial info is protected and I have never doubted HS staff or products. The staff is super friendly, laid back and competent. I have used HerbStomp for 6 or 7 months now and would encourage anyone else looking for high quality Kratom, herbs and spices, to do so as well. There are a lot of vendors out there but this company is stellar. Way to go HerbStomp!! The products are competitively priced.....actually cheaper than other vendors. With the shipping fee their cost is the same or a bit lower than the other vendors in the Portland area. I plan on visiting the store very soon. If they are anything like the folks I talk to on the phone, then I guess I will meet some really cool and honest people.

Large selection of glass. Staff were helpful and nice. They let me sample some products before I committed to purchasing them (herbs). Great herb selection as well.

Hands down the best smoke shop in Portland. The people that work there are super laid back and helpful. And they always have everything in stock.

This place is rad. I stopped in with my girlfriend last week. She was pretty impressed with their herb selection and they also had some cool pipes/vapes. I'll be coming back when I need to refill my e-juice.
