about this product
What is Green Malay kratom?
Green Malay is a green-vein strain of Mitragyna speciosa with a Malaysian-origin lineage, and it is one of the more sought-after greens in the category. The "Malay" name reflects its Malaysian heritage; like most commercial kratom today, the material is now grown across the broader Southeast Asian growing region. As a green vein, it's harvested at mid-maturity, between younger white-vein and more mature red-vein leaf.
Where our Green Malay comes from
We source Green Malay from established growers in the Southeast Asian kratom-growing region. Mid-maturity leaves are hand-harvested, de-stemmed, and dried indoors to preserve their green color before milling to a fine powder.
Our Green Malay is third-party lab tested by ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories for heavy metals, microbial contaminants, and mitragynine potency. A Certificate of Analysis is available on request.
Green Malay vs. other green-vein kratom
Green strains differ mainly by lineage and region:
- Green Malay — Malaysian lineage; a sought-after, long-standing green.
- Green Maeng Da — Thai-origin Maeng Da lineage; relatively high mitragynine content.
- Green Bali — named for the Bali export port; a widely available green.
Green Malay Kratom Powder & Capsules
Green Malay kratom is available as loose powder and as pre-filled capsules. Powder is sold by weight in a range of sizes; capsules are pre-filled with the same milled leaf. The material is identical in both formats; only the packaging differs.
Storage
Store kratom powder in an airtight container, away from heat, light, and humidity. Kept cool and dry, Green Malay holds its color and aroma for a long time; moisture and direct sunlight are what degrade a powder over time.
