Super Hit Incense

about this product

What is Super Hit incense?

Super Hit is Satya of Bangalore's second-most-famous fragrance, the orange box to Nag Champa's blue. It is built on the same hand-rolled masala foundation, a paste of resins, woods, and aromatics rolled around a bamboo stick, but carries its own floral profile: sweet and slightly resinous like its famous sibling, yet often described as lighter and brighter.

Super Hit vs. Nag Champa

The two fragrances are close cousins, and plenty of people burn them interchangeably. Side by side, Nag Champa leans into a deeper resinous sweetness while Super Hit reads brighter and a touch fresher. If you already know you love the Satya house style, Super Hit is the natural second packet; many customers end up keeping both on hand and choosing by mood. Both come from the same Bangalore maker that has been hand-rolling masala incense since 1964.

Burning characteristics

Each stick burns for roughly 30 to 45 minutes. As with all masala incense, the smoke is fuller and more aromatic than thin oil-dipped sticks, so use a proper holder in a ventilated room.

I go to the Herb Stomp locations on Belmont and Sandy. The staff there have always been knowledgeable, gracious, and welcoming. I particularly like discovering new products that I would not have ordering my purchases from an online vendor. 5/5 would go again.
