What is Red Sumatra kratom?

Red Sumatra is a red-vein strain of Mitragyna speciosa grown on the Indonesian island of Sumatra, one of the oldest and most established kratom-cultivation regions in the world. The "red" refers to the reddish central vein of fully mature leaf; red-vein kratom is made from the most mature leaf and dried the longest of the three vein colors.

Sumatra's long history of kratom cultivation and its humid equatorial climate make it a classic source for red-vein leaf.

Our Red Sumatra is grown on Sumatra by established farms. Fully mature leaves are hand-harvested, de-stemmed, and cured before being milled to a fine powder.

Our Red Sumatra is third-party lab tested by ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories for heavy metals, microbial contaminants, and mitragynine potency. A Certificate of Analysis is available on request.
